ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಲಕ್ಷ ಲಕ್ಷ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗ, ಬಲಿದಾನವಿದೆ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪುಕ್ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಅವಿರತ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಫಲ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಇಂದು ಪುಲಿಕೇಶಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆವು.
